• Sewer treatment plant upgrade. Scope of works included, bulk earthworks, piling platforms, detailed batter excavation, detailed excavation for footings and underslab drainage, relocation and handling of contaminated material in line with EPA approvals, topsoiling and mulching sand dune.

• The bulk earthworks consisted of 5,000m3 of topsoil strip and stockpile, 78,000m3 of cut to fill onsite. Fill was placed and compacted into a constructed sanddune under strict specifications, including compaction within 0%-3% OMC at 98std, with tests taken every 250m3 and location measured for reporting purposes.

• Survey asbuilts were completed by All Star Earthworks upon the completion of each holdpoint. GPS machine control was used extensively to ensure works were completed within specified tolerances. 3D models for machine control were completed in house for each section of works, and updated based on new information, streamlining the flow of information from the client to the operators completing the works.
